The path from Parkside to PureImage

I've been going to PureImage to get my hair cut for a long time, before there I was going to Raindogs (same place, but moved and merged with PureImage). When Raindogs moved, it became Parkside Bike Boutique. It's a little odd going to your former hair salon for bike parts. Life changes like my hair style.

I just recently had an old Azuki road frame built out with new components - a gold wheel set. I love it!!

I asked my son to put together a few lego models that I could photograph to use in my new blog at Paul Sizemore, and this is the first that he put together. He loves putting together free-form designs with legos, and the older son loves to follow directions in what he is building.

Eli was swingin' the light-saber in Star Wars: Lego. He's pretty good at it, too. He’s get over a small sinus infection, and on Amoxicillin.

Chris was on stand-by. We eventually had to go to Kroger to get some medicine for him going "big boy" too many times in a day. It helped, and now he's resting and recouping for soccer Saturday morning.

Eli lost his first tooth recently. The dentist pulled it. Eli�s tooth was on the way out naturally, but the dentist noticed something making the gum bubble up in between the two teeth, and recommended the loose tooth be pulled. So, Eli lost his tooth.

In the Children�s Museum�s Dino Sphere Eli dressed up like an Dinosaur, and tried to help hatch a few eggs, but I think they didn�t make it because he ended up throwing them.

Chris just recently built a Ferrari out of Lego bricks. His career choice for the month is to design cars for Ford. He really like the Mustang; I don�t think he has seen the new model, though.

When I started a new job, I told the boys they could each spend some money when I first got paid. Chris bought a F1 lego (shown, and Eli bought a Slip 'n' Slide and a can of chips.

Chris woke me up today to play chess, and beat me. I made some really bad moves, like moving my queen in front of a row of pawns. That queen was gone before I could say, well, anything.

It's starting to get hot. I set in 18 tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, watermelon, and some other stuff over the weekend. Also, the 500 square feet of wildflower seeds I planted are now a few inches high. I'm really looking forward to seeing them. They should look great next to the 100 gladiola bulbs I planted last year.

Chris got a hair cut
Yes, Chris got his hair cut today, and he ended up crying over it. He wanted to let it grow longer, but Eli put some slime in Chris’s hair, and Lisa couldn’t get it out without cutting it out. So, he now has short hair again.

Over Memorial Day my mom took the boys and I to San Diego. While there we went to Legoland and Sea World. We all had a great time.
